Tulleys Farm Shocktoberfest 2025 Review

First of all a big thank you to both Tulleys and Edhopkins PR for inviting us down for the influencer night, Tulleys Is one of our favourite events eeach year and we appreciate being given unlimited fastrack for our visit.

Tulleys has so much to do including 11 mazes, street theatre, thrill rides and shows! We didn’t have time to watch carnival cabaret as we prioritised the mazes so we wont be reviewing that in this article. However there is a brand new food court which is really well themed, I recommend a “bentleys” burger, they were sooooo tasty!!! One of my friends even bought a 2nd they were that good.

Time for the Mazes:

Glitch – New for 2025 – 6/10

Unfortunately glitch just didn’t have very many jumps for us, we really liked the theme and the scenery within the maze but it did seem like a rebranded cellar. I was very glad for the fastrack as this has a 90 minute queue at one point. It was the new maze and opening weekend, so hopefully it will improve over the event

Purgatory – 8/10

This was new for 2024 and I loved it, we did this twice in 2025 however I would recommend doing the maze as it gets dark, our first run during the day had a lot of light bleading in which ruined the effect the maze goes for. Our 2nd run was absolutely amazing and loads of jump scares! They have changed the route this year, you no longer enter by the hayride but enter next to the carving, this works better operationally but the original was spookier. I love the technology in the maze and really enjoy it!

The Carving – 7/10

In 2024 I really didn’t like the carving, I didn’t think it had much to it. For 2025 the team in there is amazing, there is now chainsaws along the route and it feels like a much better overall package. I didn’t have time do to this twice but would have if we could as it was really enjoyable. The makeup and costumes in the carving were also top notch.

Electrick Circus – 6/10

Clowns don’t do much for me, but the actors in here were really interacting and it was just good fun. Nothing amazing, just a laugh and a good time throughout. I do sometimes miss the old “curtains” maze, but I can see why it needed a refresh, and they do well with the clown theme.

Doom Town – 10/10

What can I say, always a favourite and for 2025… the addition of a boots and greggs. This attraction is scary, creepy and hilarious all at the same time. We managed doom town twice and the 2nd go was as a group of 2. Definitely do this one at night as you are going in and out of buildings, but it will not disappoint!

Wastelands penitentiary – 9/10

When they say you need the one, two combo, Wastelands is such an intense experience with strobes, loud music and a large cast. The space is used so well, and you see lots of people come running out. I love this maze and along with the fire show they put on in the area, it just feels “tulleys” to me. Not one to miss

The Haunted Hayride: Route 666 – 8/10

Well a trip to Tulleys Shocktoberfest isn’t complete without the hayride. I love how actors jump on board the tractor to interact with you. The ending is always hilarious and gets changed every year. This is a laugh and each year I do it at both day and night!

The Chop Shop – 6/10

If you are scared of chainsaws this is not the one for you. Unfortunately, on my run I had a minute or 2 where I saw no actors, however in the past have had constant chainsaws throughout. It can be hit or miss, another one I recommend at night for the full experience, but a classic and I still enjoy it. Very intense maze, maybe I’m just too sued to chainsaws now.

The Coven of 13 – 8/10

I love the way this maze is designed and it has one of my favourite scenes involving lasers and fog. I also really enjoy the “white” scene where I cant see my own hand in front of me. A Tulleys classic maze now but a great cast and very very enjoyable! The new bar they installed next to the attraction in 2024 really helps with the atmosphere.

Hellement – 4/10

I cant really say much about Hellements, clever Idea, however hooded mazes don’t do much for me. It is clever when the rope changes to chain, and the ending has a nice surprise for anyone who hasn’t done the attraction before. Might scare some people, but it isn’t a favourite of mine. Still enjoyable as its something different!

Creepy Cottage – 7/10

This maze seemed to have more actors than ever this year. If you didn’t know this attractions has 2 modes, a daytime less scary one for what was the children’s event, then the creepy mode they put it on for Shocktoberfest. It was the original maze that got tulleys started and I hope it doesn’t go anywhere anytime soon.

Summary – Tulleys is getting bigger and better every year. I do recommend booking the earliest slot and arriving as it soon as it opens, especially if you don’t have fastrack. To get 11 mazes done is really hard but so worth it, and that’s not mentioning the amazing street team ad food! its not just a scare park anymore, its more of a Scream “theme park” or as the AA signs say “Halloween festival”. Shocktoberfest is now always on our “to do” list every Halloween and we cannot wait for 2026!
