Paultons Park Theme Park Superfan Day

First of all a massive thank you to Paultons Park and LizleanPR for the invite to this event! Paultons park is one of the most beautifully kept parks in the country and we always try to make a visit each year!

Our tickets were sent to us via email and we were given the whole day at the park for free before the evening events started. We used this time to explore and we realised it was the opening date of the new family log flume “Splash Lagoon”.

Using the morning to enjoy all our favourites such as cobra, Storm Chaser and Flight of the Pterosaur with a max queue of 10 minutes on all, this is why we love Paultons Park, no fastrack, amazing ride availability and low queue times, this park is most certainly looked after!

Lunch was at the Diner in Toarnado springs and compromised of Chicken strips, curly fries and a pint of Budweiser. Please note if you are visiting Paultons as they are a family park, you can buy a max of 1 pint per adult meal served, which we think is a great idea here!

The afternoon compromised of more rides (as there are no queues!), when we rode cobra a ride engineer asked if we wanted to see the workshop – not park of the event but it was great they let us do this, the same occurred at storm chaser so we were able to see behind the scenes on both before the end of the operational day! The Guest experience and staff friendliness at this park is 2nd to none and that’s why we love it!

Come Park close we met back at the diner of Tornado springs for a welcome drink and to collect our event badges, we now had 90 minutes… that’s right an hour and a half ERT in Tornado springs, and they even opened the Family coaster Barnyard Flyer (which was a new cred for me) which was not part of the Itinerary!

Once the ERT had ended we got to chose a behind the scenes of one of 3 rides. Storm Chaser, Cobra or Flight of the Pterosaur. Having done 2 of the 3 earlier in the day, we chose Flight of the Pterosaur, this allowed us to walk around the usually restricted ride area which was pretty cool!

Now the behind the scenes was completed, we headed back to Tornado Springs for Dinner, which was included with the event, and a headphone disco (where the bar was open!!!!).  But before the day finished, we had a talk from the Park operations managers about how Paultons started and where they are going in the future…… they announced the name of their new dark ride for 2025 “Ghostly Manor” and teased a brand new Viking area for 2026 (which we believe may involve a wooden coaster or a coaster with an inversion… exciting times!)

Thank you again Paultons Park for the invite and we cannot wait to be back to ride Ghostly Manor in 2025!
